T-Shirt Design Competition: What does Inclusion look like to you?

  1. Purpose & Theme
  • Objective: Celebrate and highlight the community’s creative vision of inclusion which will be made into a shirt which will be sold during the 2025 Give! Campaign in Nov-December.
  • Theme: “What does inclusion look like to you?”
    Designers can interpret this in any style — realistic, symbolic, or abstract — to reflect belonging, acceptance, and unity.

2. Submission Guidelines

  • Eligibility: Open to all Colorado Springs residents.
  • Design Specifications:
    • Dimensions: Width between 10”–12”, height between 5”–17”
    • Color: No color limitations
    • Formats:
      • Digital designs (SVG or PNG) created with tools like Canva, Illustrator, Procreate, Photoshop, etc.
      • Physical designs (paintings, drawings, etc.) are also welcome — these will be digitized by The Arc-PPR, and small alterations may be made to ensure print quality and size compatibility.
  • Submission Method:
    • Digital designs: Submit your design to morgan@thearcppr.org with the subject line “TSHIRT DESIGN ENTRY”
    • Physical designs: Drop off at The Arc-PPR office by the deadline
    • All entries must include:
      • Name, age, contact information
      • A short artist statement explaining the concept
  • Deadline: Friday, October 10th, 2025

3. Voting & Selection

  • When: Saturday, October 18, 2025
  • Where: The Arc-PPR’s 70th Anniversary and Annual Awards Celebration Block Party
  • How:
    • Display printed/digitized mockups of all finalist designs
    • Attendees vote for their favorite in person
    • Winner announced at the end of the block party at 4 p.m. 

4. Prizes & Recognition

  • Winner(s):
    • $100 cash prize
    • Free shirt with their design
    • Featured on Arc-PPR’s social channels & website
    • Recognition at the awards celebration

Fine Print 

By submitting an entry, the artist consents that it is his/her own original work and that he/she has all necessary rights and permissions to use any included elements. The t-shirt contest team reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry. The winning artist grants to The Arc Pikes Peak Region the exclusive right to the design, including any modifications thereof, to be used on promotional/marketing and other Arc-PPR materials. The artist shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless The Arc Pikes Peak Region from and against any and all suits, actions, claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of any violation of third party rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property infringement, misappropriation, dilution or violation) in connection withThe Arc Pikes Peak Region’s use, distribution, publishing, sale or exploitation of the design. No submissions will be returned.
