Include U.S.A.

What is Include U.S.A.?

We are a group of individuals ages 18+ with either an Intellectual or Developmental Disability (IDD) who advocate for ourselves and our needs and rights. We call ourselves Unique Self-Advocates (U.S.A.), and we are all about being included in our communities in meaningful ways.

What Do We Do?

We educate others about the gifts and challenges of being a person with IDD. Our mission is to promote awareness and acceptance of all people, to participate in our community in meaningful and fun ways, and to educate the public about the many contributions of people with disabilities. We do this through outreach, socialization, and political activism. At every meeting, we have designated “social” time where we enjoy hanging out with each other and building community.
