Music and Rhythm Family Group – Wednesdays
WHAT: Succeeding in School and Life presents the Music and Rhythm Family Group! This group lets us express ourselves through music with instruments, singing, and movement. We’ll explore different instruments, learn new and familiar songs, and relax using movement, breathing, and sound. Bring your voice and get ready for fun! WHEN: The First Wednesday of every month, 5 PM – 6 PM January 7th February 4th March 4th April 1st May 6th June 3rd July 1st August 5th September 2nd October 7th November 4th December 2nd FOR WHO: Registered participants of the Succeeding in School and Life Program with children preschool aged-through transition age (23). CATS Family Bowling - Halloween Fun
Join us for our monthly CATS Family Bowling!! October is Halloween Fun! Choose your favorite Halloween costume, pumpkin theme, or fall decorations and join us for an evening of boo-ling Bowling, friends, food, and birthday celebrations. 2 hours, and the entire family! Shoes are included. 4:30pm-6:30pm AMF Lanes (999 N Circle Dr.) If your family member who is living with a disability has a birthday this month, send us a message! We would love to celebrate them at bowling! Girls’ Night Bowling: Put Your Skills in Motion! Join The Arc Pikes Peak Region’s Succeeding in School and Life program for a fun evening of bowling, confidence-building, and connection! This Girls’ Night is designed for teens and young adults ages 13–23 with varying abilities . Participants can enjoy time with friends, meet new people, and build social skills in a welcoming environment. Friday, October 9th 2026 5:30–7:30 PM Bowling and shoe rental are FREE! Pizza and drinks will also be provided at no cost to participating girls. Parents or caregivers must attend with their loved ones. Registration is required. Adult Music and Social Hour
Adult Music and Social Hour Express yourself through music and connect with others at The Arc Pikes Peak Region’s Adult Music and Social Hour! This fun, welcoming group is open to adults ages 18 and older with various disabilities and offers a space to explore music, creativity, movement, and friendship. During the first hour, participants will have the opportunity to play a variety of instruments, sing familiar tunes and new songs, practice relaxation through music, movement, and breathing, and express themselves through rhythm and creativity. After the music session, participants are invited to stay for an optional second hour to socialize, make new friends, and enjoy snacks together. Adult Music and Social Hour takes place on the third Friday of each month from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM . Space is limited to 8–9 participants , so early registration is encouraged. Join The Arc Pikes Peak Region and Include U.S.A. for a free Fall Movie Night featuring Radio ! Friday, October 16, 2026 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM The Arc Pikes Peak Region 10 N. Meade Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80909 We’ll be watching Radio , an inspiring true story about friendship, kindness, and belonging . When a high school football coach befriends Radio, a young man with an intellectual disability, their friendship brings the whole community together. Filled with heart, humor, and powerful moments, Radio reminds us that everyone deserves respect, connection, and a chance to shine. The movie and snacks are FREE! The Arc Pikes Peak Region’s Annual Halloween Dance
Get ready for a spooktacular night of dancing, costumes, treats, and Halloween fun at The Arc Pikes Peak Region’s Annual Halloween Dance! Join us on Thursday, October 29 from 6:00–9:00 PM at the Norris Penrose Event Center for an all-ages, family-friendly Halloween celebration. Put on your best costume, hit the dance floor, and get ready to do the Monster Mash! We’ll also have costume competitions , so make sure to wear your best!
