Guardianship, Conservatorship, and POA Training for Non-Professionals

Join us for a free and informative one-day training session located at The Arc Pikes Peak Region offices in Colorado Springs. This training is intended to provide introductory information related to serving as a non-professional guardian, conservator, or power of attorney for family, friends and loved ones. Training topics include Alternatives to Guardianship, Mandatory Reporting, Decision-Making, Guardianship & Conservatorship 101, Capacity, Ward’s Rights, and Required Pleadings. You can expect to learn from professionals in the field including an officer for Colorado Springs Police Department, a professional guardian and conservator, a psychiatrist, and a local civil attorney.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
